this will sound gross but my grandfather said when he was in WW1 the solders were told to urinate on their feet to get rid of the athletes foot. They marched all around and did not have the medication or the hospital to just hop over to so they had to keep their feet in very good condition. So they were told to pee on their feet and keep their socks clean. AS far as I know most of the service men today are told the same thing. It is gross but you use what you got at the moment. And it is free

Go to your local drugstore and get extra strength antifungal ointment. It requires that you wash your feet every day and put this cream on your feet, especially between the toes. Dont wear shoes without clean socks. Clean your bathtub with a bleaching product and make sure your bathroom floor is also cleaned with a germ/bacterial killer. Stay out of public swimming pools unless you wear surf shoes, or flip flops in the shower rooms and wet areas. Wash your socks with a bleaching product so you dont reinfect yourself. Be vigilent, if you dont forget to put the ointment on everyday, you should be able to get rid of the athlete's foot in a week or two.

Hey, I'm a nurse (obviously) and I have the same problem. I recently heard that you can mix 1/2 hydrogen peroxide and 1/2 water in a spray bottle and spray one or two times a day to get rid of it. I'm gonna try it.

You could also try using Tea Tree/Melaleuca Oil on them. It works but really dries out your skin.

get some creme and apply it at night and wear socks to bed. second, wash ur tub out with clorox nightly for a couple of nights . That is where u keep getting infected probably. It feeds on moist wet areas....Ur shoes...maybe u have another pair ...wear them for a couple days..wash the old ones and dry them really good...that should do the trick.

Salt soaks every day on your feet.
Throw away your old shoes and socks.. they can hold the fungus in them.
Keep your feet dry during the day.
go to the doc and get prescription lamisil and the corresponding liver function tests.
Use sprays
If it affects your toe nails, you can have them removed while on treatment.

don't pee on it, it'll just make your feet smell like pee, instead get a strong medicated cream and put your shoes out in the sun along with your bare feet to kill the fungus. if it's really bad, put your socks on before your underwear or it might travel.

If you haven't already try Lamasil. If Lamasil doesn't kill it, get a prescription from your doctor.
