The Pentium II is several years old and now up to P4. Its possible to upgrade ram, but it may not solve your problem if your system is running slow. If you upgrade to a new computer, you'll most likely have WinxXP and a P4 processor with at least 1 or 2bg or ram. You could upgrade the motherboard to one that will run a P4 and up to 2gb of ram, but you'll need to get a good graphics card as well. But you may not be comfortable doing this yourself. So buying a new one would be a better option for you. Email me if you hav eother questions. good luck

No, not likely. Them memory, hard drive, graphics etc. all are slower then even the cheapest new computer you could buy today. The upgrade (if even possible) to memory, graphics card, cpu would run around 250 bucks and you can get a better then crappy dell for 299 with XP installed.
