Make a list of pro & cons for each city. Put a number next to each item on the positive (pro) list for each town, from 1-10 of how much the positive items affect you & -1 to -10 for the negative (con) lists. Add up the numbers for each list- subtract each cities cons from their pros. Which city has the highest number? Are they really the things that fufill your life? Then that's where you should live.

Tough call. I just left my hometown too. My kids, friends and the man i love are all back where i consider home. I am so homesick it literally hurts. Unlike you though, i dont love the city where i am now, and am saving money to go home with. (Thats why i left, i'd been out of work for almost a year & couldnt find a job, but i have a few prospects lined up now) Follow your heart on that one, it's a VERY personal choice. Good luck

I love Vancouver, also. Since you seem to be getting back less and less, maybe it is time to go back home to your beautiful city and be with friends and family. Look at your current situation as a learning experience.

Who your with. Ask any married couple that has stayed married for over 30 years. Who your with is everything friend.

Make some new friends. Have you tried that? If you love Vancouver and want to stay put, .......widen out. Make some new buddies.

While you moved on, so did your friends. Everything changes. It may not be the same when you return. Are you looking for things to be the same? You might be disappointed.

If you want to be near family then that's a good idea because they grow older and might need you. But, you have to lead your own life too, so get on with it.

You can live in a refrigerator box in the middle of nowhere---but only if you're with the people you love,

I believe that if you love were you are than the rest does not matter. Also if you love who you are around the same thing the rest does not matter.
