I would guess you were happiest when you were growing up in a comfortable setting as a kid. As long as you weren't abused or anything as a kid, most people are pretty nostalgic about their innocent, carefree childhood days.

They say money can't buy happiness, but if that's true, why do so few people voluntarily choose to be poor?

When you were homeless i presume. I am gonna do that. i plan on going on a great Journey across this country and i dont care if i got a home in fact id rather be among the homeless who are the most real people in the world. From what ive seen of them

Your happiness is dependent on so much more than your economic circumstances. I could only give an answer after understanding the critical elements of your life. and, certainly, these are not dependent on your wealth or lack thereof.
