No honey, it will not. The only thing that will effect your baby through the sperm is any STD he might get if he "fools around " with other others who may have it. I am an LPN & the alchol will not travel in the sperm to the baby---if that is the case there are a LOT of babies in trouble as there has been a lot of them made DUE TO ALCHOL

I think your husband would have to be pretty darn drunk with an incredibly high blood alcohol level to affect your unborn child! If he WAS that drunk, hell, chances are he wouldn't make it to the finish line before passing out anyway! I think that this story is just another one of those bizarre tales that everyone is compelled to share with a pregnant woman! Relax...a couple of drinks is not going to harm your baby! The only substances that are introduced into your baby's bloodstream have to come from the imbilical cord and you would have had to ingest this substance in the first place!

Hi there... I bet that alcohol doesn't travel thru sperm but when a person is drunk..it will surely take a longer time to *** and as the person's sensitivity drops down he might do it harder on u.... affecting the baby.. And the baby might be affected only if U r drunk..!! Take care of urself and baby!! Enjoy the pregnancy period!

Why in this day of information overload, do we still have ignorance about our bodies? There is no way that your baby could be affected by your husbands sperm at this point. The baby is in a placenta and sperm can't affect your baby, inebriated sperm or sober sperm.
Come on people, let's educate ourselves about ourselves.

No that's not true at all. The only way the baby will be in danger is if YOU take a drink.

That is such a f*ucking lie!!! Trust me there will be soooo many f*ucked up babies in the world if that were true. I mean really, think about it. Anyone who would believe that is so gullible.

no, your fetus is completely protected in your womb; however, the alcohol will effect the quality of his sperm, though.
