Do you think they will eventually catch him? I tell him not to do it and that he'll get caught, but he just uses different numbers and goes different places, like his friends' houses or the library or somewhere. Do they track that through the computer that was used? How do they catch people like that?

he will eventually get caught.
i wont tell ya the whole story but i was interviewed by the secret service and was charged with 20 class c felonies and 18 class d felonies for something similar. i got away with it for a long time so have other folks. you have to know when to quit and when to delete all evidence. if he ever ordered anything and had it mailed to his house he is probally screwed and busted but doesnt know it yet. they had us under surveillance for a long time before the arrest, they could be watching him now.

Why are you worried so much about him and wasting your valuable time.
Unless there is a bad person, how do you identify good person?
He will one day change himself for the better.
If not, let him go to dogs.
You remain good and feel good.
You cannot change the people with negative instincts.
As a good friend, you can give advise twice or thrice then it is always better to mind your self and be good.

If the people who own the credit card notice the charges, he is going to be in big trouble. He will get caught.
