I was in a off and on relationship for about 7 years and finally decided enough is enough. I'm now trying to get over my anger and pain so I can move on. How do I do this?

One day at a time! Time is the only thing that seems to mend a broken heart! Keep busy and active and soon the hurt will be a distant memory

It will come with time. Do not allow yourself to focus on this individual, and what he did or did not do for you. You don't say why you decided to end the relationship after 7 years. Nevertheless, something must not have been right to take such action.

Keep busy, make new freinds and take care of yourself. There is no need for you to feel sorry for yourself, because it really does no good and only magnifies the problems and issues. Best thing you can do is move forward.....no sense crying over spilled milk.

First, I'm sorry for you anger and pain.

Stay busy! Anything to keep your mind off that person. Don't start following him, calling him, etc.... it only belittles yourself.
Don't jump into another relationship right away.
And time is the only thing that truely heals the hurt.

Pray! and take it one day at a time.I understand it's not an easy process but you can do it. Sometimes you have to look at it as there is someone better for you someone who's going to love you and take care of you the way you should be taken care of. Be strong during this time of heartache you can do it.

Seven years is a long time. Expect it to take you about the same amount of time to heal. Sorry, but it really does take time.
