Press the start button and select RUN.
Tyoe in CMD in the box and press OK. A command window opens where you can type. Type in IPCONFIG and a display will pop up and tell you all.

The best way to know your IP address wherever you are is MYREMOTEIP.com. It gives you a free site and you can login from anywhere in the world to see the IP address of any of your computers. I log in from home to see what the IP Address of my work computer is so I can get on it with PC anywhere.
