My first thought was a great big blanket - sorry, it's late!! Hope you see the humor in that!

How about a small tool kit with screwdriver (phillips and standard), pliers, small hammer, etc. Just some things to help her do minor maintenance so she doesn't have to contact the landlord. It will also make her feel more independent and feel that you see her as more than "just a woman".

Good luck! I think she will really appreciate it.

particular it extremely is a brilliant theory, in case you have the opt to make it realllllly particular, bypass to the greenback shop and purchase a coffee mug (or use one out of your cupboard, basically be constructive it would not have any cracks or chips on it), then get a pair packets of those one cup servings warm goodies (you should purchase a container of swiss miss or nestles for some greenback - use 2 or 3 packets tucked interior the cup and you have the different 9 or 10 leftover for your self!!!) then use a sheet of tissue paper or some newspaper or paper towels and wrap that around the cup then stuff it right into a lunch bag sized paper bag, if the bag is authentic basic you may beautify it with drawings of marshmallows :)

Without knowing much about her apartment I would suggest thr most useful thing you could give her would be a gift card to a store which sells just about everything for the kichen and bath. athen she can make here own choices and get something SHE likes and needs.
