If you are talking about Pirates of the Caribbean 2, it is a great movie. You should see Pirates of the Caribbean 1, first thought, so you can understand the story line.

It is and it isn't. Is worth seeing in the long run because the third movie will probably be awesome, but this one felt like it was missing a lot of the fun of the first. It was too long and there were too many "adventures" stuffed into it, and little character development. It's a shame because in the first Jack is this entertaining and original character, and nothing new was done with him (he barely said any of his pirate chatch phrases). Also, there were some very interesting characters introduced, but no time was spent on them. The plot of the first move was simple, but at least there was one - and it was fun to watch.
I got the feeling that this movie was just filler until the next one, and was disappointed. I'd rent it when it comes out on dvd or see a matinee show, but don't spend more than $9 to see it.

it was totally entertaining. there were parts that delved into the realm of cheesiness but overall i'd say definitely worth the price of admission. i actually liked it better than the first but that might me because i saw the first one on a tv and not in the theatre. plus i thought the jamaican voodo lady was hot!

Yes, the ending is a bit odd, but it is because it's leading up to the third one that they are already making.

stupid ending? no, a SWEET ENDING...however, its a huge cliffhanger, and we have to wait till may for At World's end...see it though!
