I have researched this but I'm still not sure on whether Mother Earth and Gaea are the same thing. I have to sumerize the myth of mother earth and search results usually just include Gaea or someone called Dementer. Please tell me which one is Mother Earth.

Demeter is the goddess of the earth or more specifically the harvest/ population of growth of vegetation on the earth. Gaea on teh other hand, is the one that started it all in Greek mythology...the earth mother...well thats all i got..hoped that helped
