Please do not listen to the people above. Wow, please read your health books, go to college and learn something. Everyone does not grow at the same rate or time. 25 is the average point that growth stops in men. That is not always true. When I was younger I was faster than everyone. No one could catch me, then I got to high school and people started passing me up in hieght, it was kind of depressing. I've always been hyper and sporty and I wanted to play basketball and football but my heigh and build didn't allow that to work out.
Bro, don't worry. I was the same way. I was 5'3/5'5 till I got out of high school. Now I'm 6'1. Growth harmones are not natural and any doctor in his right mind wouldn't subscribe them to you unless you have a medical problem that requires it or make you feel better about yourself because your that far gone emotionally. Another thing is just because doctors go to school that doesn't mean they really learned that much or can be trusted. If you want something bad enough, there is some doctor that will give it to you. Remember they have big houses, big cars and expensive life styles. Before you think about taking harmones, you should seek 1 or 2 second opinions. Look for doctors that specialize and not general type doctors. Most guys don't stop growing until 25 and some don't stop even after 25. You have to take in account for late bloomers. It never hurts to see a doctor and make sure your okay. Physical, blood work, yada yada, to make sure your body is within all the norms. But don't stress. You should be getting physicals and keeping track of your blood regularly anyway. Humans are not perfect and it's always good to keep yourself fit and checked out. Especially with all the bad habits we have.
Bertojame is so off here, you could be identical and have a different lifestyle, eat differently and so on. If you eat nothing but chocolate all your life and your twin eats vegetables you can not tell me that your going to always keep the same shape. Please take a health class.
Wow, done ranting, I wrote you a letter. LOL.

At 18, in a male it is unlikely that you will grow more than an inch in heigth. You should look at the size of your parents and grandparents, members of your family. Are they about your height or just a little taller. Your twin brother is obviously not an Identical twin, he is a fraternal twin from a separate egg. His genetic makeup is such that he inherited a gene that allowed him to grow to a greater height. If your family physician feels that your growth is normal for your family etc, then there is not much you can do. At 18, 90% of your growth is over. There is a rare possiblily that you had some problem with a hormonal deficiency; but that should have been picked up years ago, when you stopped growing...if you were under regular medical care. Growth hormone is not very advantageous now at your age. Good Luck. You might want to check this out with your family Doc.

Men usually continue to grow until they are 21. This is, however only the average, with variation entirely possible. I would recommend that you take good care of your health (eat right, take vitamins if you don't, get rest, and don't use drugs, which can screw up your body in lots of ways including growth, etc.) If you are concerned about an underlying endocrinological (hormonal) cause or if you have reason to believe from a family history of illness that this is an issue talk to a doctor about getting some blood work done to check your thyroid hormones etc. It does not, however, sound to me like you have a problem with stature. Society and the popular culture may have made you believe that you as a man need to be as big and tall and strong and macho as possible to be desirable or whatever, but don't worry, reject the system dictating these ideas and focus on having a healthy body rather than one that conforms to the ideals thought up by everybody else. Besides, having a healthy self confidence is much more attractive than the best body for the people who see you for who you are rather than how you look.

Mens bones continue to grow until they are 25, but you should have had a major spurt by now. I would see a Dr. Both my uncles were extreme in height, one 4'6" and his brother 7'1". They had an endocrine disease that was diagnosed too late to do anything about.

Please do not pay any attention to Rob, he is a jerk.
You still could grow some more. You still are very young, so you could grow taller later. Regardless, you should get a check up, it never hurts to be sure. What ever the outcome, be the best you can be, no matter how tall you are.

you may be a late developer like me. I was 5' 7" when I was eighteen and grew to 6' 4" in my 20's without any growth hormones.

Lot of medical books say that your height can increase till the age of 21, so dont bother much about it, try to reinforce your calcium, do take a healthy diet, make milk a part of your diet, and see yourself rising.
Good luck !!!

Well, you may not be able to grow on your own. You may want to see your doctor and discuss growth hormones. Some insurance will cover this but if they dont it is quite costly. However, it is worth checking.
