put some kind of crafty idea or the shade. Something unique, not to bright, I am thinking like a slate blue. All suggestions would be appreciated. I don't want to put material over it. I would rather have some ideas maybe with ribbon and beads, or sequence of some sort. Thanks! :D

hot glue little beads from the bottom of the shade. it'll make it look like a little chandelier.

I would use ribbons that match your decor and add some buttons. You can buy bags of unique buttons at fabric stores like Joann's.

Sea shells is another option and also easily available at places like Dollar stores.

For a rustic look you could collect willow branches...let them dry oand attach with a glue gun.

Take the lampshade with you to a craft store and try stuff out. I think a nice fluff or sting of shells would be nice glued around the bottom edge.
