good question. and i think it depends on the person. if youre more addicted to one then that ones worse. if youre addicted to both then they are both bad. like me.... im addicted (or was) to weed. so i dont smoke anymore. but i do drink on occasion.

you wanna know the real answer?
of course you know pot is illegal, dont listen to these stupid *****.
beer is "worse"
It is more addicting, and takes away more basic motor function skills than pot does.
Do you ever see on the news "Two killed in driving accident due to pot" no! thats because if anything, pot will make you drive slowly, like 5 mph, LOL!
It calms you down, where as drinking beer will get you rowdy, and it bad for the lived. Smoking stuff has been aorund since fire was discovered by man.

The POT it is ILLEGAL

You might be surprised to learn that marijuana contains the same cancer-causing chemicals as tobacco, and at higher concentrations. Smoking five joints a week is the equivalent of smoking an entire pack of cigarettes every day which, even in the short term, leads to lung and respiratory problems-wheezing, frequent chest colds and-yick!-a nasty phlegmmy cough. Long-term use increases the chances of tissue damage and lung cancer, and also causes changes in the brain similar to those caused by long-term use of cocaine and heroin.

The likelihood of a car crash is increased by some of the immediate effects of smoking pot-longer reaction time, poor physical coordination, and impaired concentration. Marijuana also makes you more likely to do something stupid you might regret. Pot-smoking has been linked with risky sexual behaviors that increase the likelihood of sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies.

Marijuana use by teens-like the use of many other drugs-can make it harder to keep good relationships with your friends and family. Marijuana users can become loners or hang out with people who may not be a good influence, which means that if you already have good friends and a supportive family, you can grow apart from them or lose their trust

According to the National Household Survey on Drug Abuse, kids who frequently use marijuana are almost four times as likely to commit a violent act-against either people or property-than those who don't. They're five times as likely to steal. So smoking marijuana can get you in trouble with the law and result in later problems like not being able to get a scholarship or a job

The people who profit from the $400 billion global drug business-and yes, marijuana is a big part of this business-are creep factor nine. They're criminals. If you're smoking pot, you could be the end-user of a product that may have been sold to help fund these people.
Okay, you now have the facts. Marijuana is riskier than you think

what is "worst"? (space then coma) WORSE being the correct word.

smoking pot "are" drinking beer" OR being the correct word.

I say the two are equally negative on cognitive and motor skills. Both can get you put in jail for months or years Depends on the charge, DUI/DWI or possession of an illegal substance. Both claim lives on many levels. Both cause havoc for families and jobs everyday.

The pros and cons of marijuana verses alcohol are only debated by drug addicts and alcoholics. For the families of those two abusers it is all the same devastating life.

Smoke, choke, broke or dope...........not much difference when it comes to the harm they can cause.

Its not a matter of legalities when your suffering from the effects of chemo and the only thing that helps calm your sickness is pot so it does have some redeeming factors, where drinking is just drunk and bad for you!!!!! you can make a list just as long or longer against drinking also.
Its Not a matter of whats worse for you..... everything in moderation so they say... Its more a matter for finding whats good for you......

People can (sometimes) reach the same sort of level of intoxication from pot, and retain motor skills, concentration and co-ordination, that they could not, drinking beer.

Anyway - anyone seen a FAT pothead ? Anyone seen a FAT beer drinker - now decide which is worse ?

drinking beer. beer is not only bad for your body but it also makes you act like a idiot. drinking and driving is a very stupid side effect of this. smoking weed makes you so lazy that you don't want to do any thing but eat, sleep, and have sex. and who doesn't want to gorge yourself, have sex, and then sleep for 12 hours.

Worse in what sense?
Smoking pot is worse for your body over a short period and it is also illegal in most places, so I guess it would be "worse".
