I am an American living and working here in Denmark ,and if you just asking what the system will do for you as far as government plans ,Its many , the welfare system is alot different then the US here they encourage everyone that can work do so we pay a very high tax and have many benefits that compensate us for that tax ,and if your an American citizen threes so many things wrong with your question ,,for one why on earth would you immigrate here to Denmark ? Another why do you ask about the welfare system and not jobs language the way of life and the things that make a good citizen of any country ? If you other questions about integrating in to the Danish society that would be a good way to start if you truly want to become part of the way of life here ,,I would hope that we are all reading your question wrong ...

I think they would just deport you. I have no respect for people who want to immigrate to live off a system. You ruin it for people like me who come here to be a useful member of society and simply enjoy the experience. I am a quest in the this country and don't deserve any welfare.

grow up and ask a Q about how to get a job in Denmark rather than sucking off their system w/o giving anything in return.
