Jimmy Carter, by far. Carter actually managed to arrange a peace treaty between Israel and an Arab nation that still stands today. The Camp David Accords, between Israel and Egypt, offer solutions and compromise plans for the Palestinian issue that may yet bring some peace to that part of the world, if given a chance. Bush has offered nothing but war and poverty.

Bush. As horrible as Carter was as a president, we only had to deal with him for 4 years.
Carter was a nice person who got in over his head. Bush on the other hand...

Both decent men, neither one the best President in history. I'd give the nod to Bush as the better manager of people and some really tough situations. And Jeb Bush's reputation and social skills sure beat Billy Carter's.
Thanks for your input also, "Jerry P". Bill Clinton was morally bankrupt and disgraced the office of the Presidency before the entire world. On that basis alone he's out of the running.

I think Jimmy, but I'm sure others here will say Dubya.
I could be wrong, but I think history will eventually judge Bush the Younger the same way it has come to judge Harry S Truman, who was even less popular than Dubya for much of his time in office.
Only time will tell...

GW Bush. Carter at least tried to do a good job for people, and he still is. After Bush is mercifully out of office, you think he'll be running around building houses for poor people? It is to laugh.
