This man i cared for and when he went away i realized he may be trying to use me by writing and asking me for favors.. I do not see anything else besides " i care about you".. Anyone has been through this? save me the trouble,.. thanks

Duh. Not to be harsh, but use your common sense with this one. He probably feels entitled to whatever he wants in life without consideration to others. He is in jail, right? Why? He probably thinks the world owes him something. You feel like he is using you? Why would you let him? Don't you think you deserve better? He may say nice things that you want to hear, but his actions don't match what he says. RUN. FAST......

He may be using u then again he may just want some contact with the outside world. Some people in jail or prison have family that won't write or can't send them money financially and it makes it hard .

Yes, I have been through this and he is more than likely using you. If he thinks you care about him he may use you to send messages to other people or to come see him so he won't be so lonely. It amazes me how many people "CHANGE" when they go to jail. I think it is bogus for you to even consider a relationship with a felon. You already know the answer to your own question you just wanted someone to confirm it. I hope you get on with your life without him.

I would have to say that if this man is in jail and your gut feeling is that he is using you then you probably need to leave him alone. Being a women though i know that if you love this man-you probably won't.
