What equipment is needed to run a mobile DJ business? I'm talking amps, mixing board, microphone...down to the types of wires and connection cables? Don't want a DJ in a box set up. Do you know of anyplace online that can show me everything I need?

3 channel mixer board with graphic equalizer and mic.
Wireless mic
2 cd players/mp3 players
1000 watt 2 channel amp
full range speaker boxes (15 in sub)..atleast two...recommend 4..better sounding
Dance lights.
Light controller.
14guage speaker wires.
You can check for local music stores that sells musician equipment. Most times they have everything you need there. And usually knowledgeable staff...
