Since there is only one state that has gay marriage, and that's only been for about two years, the books haven't been written on this subject, I would presume the rules will be about the same as for straight divorce. If one partner has sacrificed a career or education for the other, that would be the one who would be entitled to alimony or some kind of settlement.

I suppose this is an attempt at humor, but the issues are very real. Palimony is paid to gay partners, and kids become a very real issue to those that have them. Don't be so quick to toss around the "funny stuff" in a try to be clever. Doesn't work out so well, shows your ignorance of life. No one should put their ignorance on display..only fools do that.

If both are of the same sex, it shouldn't be no problem, if they had kids prior their union.
Alimony is obligatory from husbands always.
