Vaginal pressure
As the baby?s head descends into the birth canal or engages in the last month of pregnancy, vaginal pressure is common and nothing to worry about. If descent of the baby happens earlier, it can be a sign of preterm labor and should be evaluated. The more babies you have had, the more likely you are to experience some normal (if uncomfortable) vaginal pressure as your uterus grows.

Can usually wait for office hours: A heaviness or pressure sensation in the pelvic or vaginal area that resolves when you lie down.
Call immediately:. If you are less than 35 weeks and are having significant pressure within your vagina that doesn't resolve with rest.

Plus he may be dropping... :OP

If you haven't been noticing this for the past few weeks, you haven't been paying attention. Everyone begins having mild contractions by the seventh month, sometimes a bit earlier. What you're feeling is probably Braxton-Hickes contractions - all in preparation for the big day. Don't worry, but do talk to your doctor if the pressure becomes quite strong, if you begin to experience low back pain, or if your water breaks.
Hon, it's all part of the process. Before you know it, it'll all be over with and you'll experience the unique joys and trials of motherhood.

The baby's head has "dropped". This is a sign that labor will start soon! It must be your first, because with later pregnancy it happens right before labor starts. With the first, it happens within a few weeks and isn't as noticeable. You should be able to fit your hand between your breasts and the top of your tummy now, where you couldn't do this before. To make your delivery easier, you should do lots of walking now and try to stay active. Good luck!

It's means you'll be going into labor soon...a few hours, days, or a week. Gestation is 40 weeks. Keep an eye out for any vaginal discharge...this maybe a sign that your water has begun to break. If you start to have any pain or discomfort...go to the hospital immediately.

You are feeling the baby's head as it is decending deeper and deeper into the pelvis. It is nothing to be concerned about this is a very natural thing that is happening to your body.
