The base at Subic was deactivated in the late 80's when the lease expired and so was Clark Airbase. Subic was returned to the Philippine Government which then established the bases as economic zones. There are some military retirees living in the area, mostly retired US Navy at Subic and Retired USAF at the old Clark airbase in Pampanga.

if ur reffering to the US military going to the philippines,yes they are still around but only for a couple of month or so.the last time i heard about US military coming over here is they are part of the US-Philippine exercise training.one of the group even got a rape case in here.i think its US marines.heard its just about the "payment" something.

Nope . Everyone left i think when Mt. Pinatubo errupted. Either that or when the bas closed down.

NO. Those are long gone... you can still go there. They have restored and kept it for tourists.
