First think of any family members names(Father,Grandfather, uncles etc.) that you might like, especially if it is a person you are close to. It is a good way to honor them by giving the baby their name for his middle name. Always make sure the initals don't spell out anything goofy. (Like Fred Albert Thompson or Peter Earl Watson-- Fred might turn out to be chubby and Peter may stink. Then they would get teased in school. )Also with a three sylable first name and a two sylable last name, the middle name could be just one sylable like Paul, James, Mark, John etc.

Old-fashioned, but may preserve the peace in your families... you might consider your father's or your baby's father's name as a middle name (first, middle or last, doesn't really matter) - even your mother's names could be acceptable. My family is STILL pissed (12 years later) that we chose a middle name that had meaning to my husband & I, but had no family relevance... Live & learn... Good luck to you & Donovan - be well.

Donovan James Watson? He could go by DJ when he's older if he wants.
Make sure the initials don't spell anything goofy--my brother-in-law has a daughter whose initials are ***, and her mother did that on purpose!
