Any pointers on the plot line on Jane Eyre?

Everybody forgot a very important fact. Jane and Mr. Rochester were about to get married, when his brother in law ( brother of his crazy wife) appears and the wedding is canceled. jane runs away and doesn´t come back unitl much later ( I gues a year or so) and finds out about the fire and Mr. rochester´s handicap.

It's something about Jane becoming a governess and then moving away for a few years. When she gets back, she looks for Mr. Rochester(not sure if i spelled that correctly). Then she finds out about a fire in his house due to his crazy wife, and asks around and finds him, but he's blind then. Then they fall in love and they marry, and his eyesight starts to get better. I think thats it, I cant remember.

Jane becomes the governess or nanny to mr.rochesters child.over time they become good friends though both of them don't want to let the other get too close.mr.rochester because of the failure of his last marriage and jane because she doesn't believe she is beautiful enough or worthy or anyone loving her.Once she realizes that she has fallen in love with mr.rochester she leaves him thinking distance will help,but soon returns once she hears about the fire at his house.She finds him alive but blind and realizes that even with him having this handicap she still loves him,so spends the rest of her life taking care of him.And mr.rochester learns to let himself be vunerable and lets someone love him.(basically your normal romance type style story,hope it helps)
