Are they Goth? Does it really matter whether you are or not? Do you like them? If there is no problem caused by this then just keep on being friends. Not everybody has to be the same to be friends.

I would change my look, but then again if you like the way you dress then keep dressing the way you want because it's who you are and it's what you like. Other then that it's whatever tickles your pickle.
Ciao~

P.S: Tell your friends your not a goth. They will believe you if there your true friends.

Don't let it bother you. Goth is nothing bad, kinda fun from what i'm told. Just don't feed into it, or do anything to encourage them. They will figure things out for themselves.

Stay away from black clothes, black or blood red lipstick, and wear tie dye t-shirts lol. Hippies and goths are oppisites, so emulate hippieness (as painful as that might be) untill your friends see the err of their judgement.

Be myself. Otherwise my 'friends' wouldn't really be *my* friends, since they would think they were friends with someone who wasn't me. And if they wouldn't be my friends when I was being myself, I would be disappointed, but then again, that would mean they weren't really my friends to start with. They liked the illusion, not the person.

What can you do? If your freinds missunderstand you, then find some who do...a lot of my friends think that I am a little on the dark side..but its just that I think I look good in darker colors..so I jsut dont let what other people think bother me.

Wear some different style clothes. Freak them out with a bow tie. Cover all your metal with band-aids. Tattoos, too, if applicable.

I would go to my friends and say, "Hey, I'm not Goth."

If they think your goth, but your not, I guess they don't really know you that much.

come clean with your friends, if they don't like it, then they aren't really your friends, you'll make new ones. The longer you wait to tell them and get it off your chest, the worse you'll feel inside
