Relationships need to be based on honesty. That is the only way. I have never lied to my fiance and we are happy as can be. I would never be able to deal with the guilt of not owning up to my mistake. If you really love someone and are committed to them in a relationship, than you shouldn't cheat to begin with, however if you do, be honest. Things may not work out the way you want, but if you don't tell them, I don't think the relationship will work out anyway. It's not meant to be if you can lie to someone you love without being overwhelmed by guilt all the time. All you can do be open with the ones you love and everyone will be much happier

First, I would never cheat on a boyfriend or husband. If I was feeling like I needed to do that I'd end the relationship first before doing anything with another man.

So assuming you'd already cheated, you might as well end it, because if there is a chance you two will stay together it usually means he's using you for sex (if there was any). If there wasn't any, it means he's got a good excuse to toss you and get a new girl that does put out.

Unless you don't tell him, start putting out more and you'll get over trying to look elsewhere for sex. Thus ending any affair spree

If he cheated on you, would you like him to tell you? The name of the game is honesty. Of course, cheating is not being honest in the first place. Avoid the problem by avoiding the problem.

If you want to keep your relationship alive, then no. You'll just have to learn to keep a secret and hope that your bf never, ever feels like doing the same to you.

The bigger question is: Is this a one-time, never-will-happen-again thing OR is this a sign that you want out?

If I cheated on my girl, I wouldn't tell her jack (even though I wouldn't cheat to begin with). I hope for the sake of you females that you wouldn't say anything if you cheated either.
