whatever you do do not do it on the lower of your back! thats just a fad right now! I want one of a fairy on my side just under my bra line with the wings going on my back a little. that way the only way people can see it is if they are lucky ; ) or I am wearing a swimsuit.

Lower back or right above your pelvic bone for girls. I have a butterfly on my lower back, but I'm gonna think long and hard about getting one above my pelvic bone because it might look kind of funny someday when I'm pregnant. Bottom line is get something you're going to love, and don't listen to the idiots who say that tattoos are unatractive. They're just boring and don't appreciate self expression. : )

I think a sexy midriff is hot so a tat on your stomach or belly button. Even a navel ring is cute! I don't like them on the lower back at all. It looks trashy

Get it on your lower back, right above your butt. You can flashit by wearing crop tops or low rider pants. Very sexy. It totally makes the guys think about doing it doggie-style.
