1.) the day i dedicated my life in service to the Most High (9/12/1970)
2.) the day i got married (8/7/1978)
3.) the day i enrolled back in college to get my first Bachelor's degree (July 2003)
4.) the day i received a letter from the Provost congratulating me for making the Dean's List (Fall semester 2004; 3.75 GPA)
5.) the day i received my first scholarship from the Tom Joyner Foundation (Spring semester 2005)
6.) the day that i was listed as one of Coppin State University's Most Outstanding Students (three times: twice in 2004-05; once for 2005 -06)
there are a lot more, but the one that sticks out above all is:
7.) March 9, 1988 - the day i said NO to a seven-year addiction & remembered the day i gave my life in service to the Most High (see #1) by remembering a simple scripture: Proverbs 3: 5,6. everything else after that was like icing on an already well-baked cake.
ain't Jah good?

I am most proud of the way my children have blossomed into wonderful young adults. It is so validating as a mother. Other than that I'm proud of my own accomplishments - single mother who managed to make it without welfare, climbed the career ladder and made it to six figures so that I afford things I never thought I could, like traveling the world. I went all the way from buying generic everything and walking to work to save money to being a successful career woman. Still...I'm most proud of my kids!

I am most proud of my children. I'm proud of all their accomplishments. But I am most proud of their attempts to do something whether they succeed or fail.

My personal integrity. I can always live knowing I told the truth. Treated people well, and had morals. (you have alot less regret this way!)
