What do you think is the most overrated car sold in the U.S?

anything jaguar. they think they're so special, with their fancy pronunciation, but in reality, they havent made a good car in a few decades, and have possibly the worst rep of all car companies. Ford has quite literally been throwing money into the pit the Jaguar has become for decades now.

Probably the Hummer H2 - it has the same chassis as the Chevy Tahoe. Or any of the Mercedes, Lexus, or BMW. Oh, and to "Silverstang" on up the board, I recently purchased a 2001 Mitsubishi Spyder convertible that is in mint condition inside and out, with 36,000 miles on it. A tank of gas lasts me 2 weeks. Still think the Mitsubishi is the most overrated car sold in the U.S.? Better think again!.

Any Cadillac. GM lead the way in overrated cars in the 80s when they put a few extra trim parts on a Cavalier and tried to sell it as a Cadillac Cimmaron. No one but a few suckers fell for it, and even though you would think General Motors learned their lesson the hard way after years of trying to regain Cadillac's reputation and market share, here they are doing the same thing yet again by making a Buick Lucerne into the DTS, and in the process coming up with a heavier, slower, more expensive car. Ford, however, is dragging Jaguar down the same path by making the cheap-shiit Mondeo into a Jaguar the same way to try and suck stupid people into buying what appears to be a budget Jag but in reality is nothng more than a Tempo.

anything GM...the shop I work in sees GM cars about 10 to 1 versus all other makes. I know they sell alot, but they are going to cost the owner alot of money down the road especially in things like:
power window regulators, alternators, starters, fuel pumps, ignition modules, coil packs
