I have windows xp and when i try to load my pc it just goes to the desktop then back to a black page what todo

I dont know the administrator password, because it was my cousins pc and she doenst remember it..so i have to options to do the xp home which just loads the desktop then right back to a black page or xp pro where it wants her password..please help me
