It is a shock to hear that someone died young, but when Grandpa dies, We feel a sense that they lived a long life. They might have been "ready" to go. John Ritter seemed like a Good Guy. Plus he was the voice of "Clifford" the big red dog. My son loves him. Many prayers for Mr. Ritter and Grandpa too!

omg yeah me too! i was a lot sadder than John Ritter died than when my grandpa did. John Ritter was an amazing person and so hilarious. I still love Three's Company and watch when i can and I'm always watching 8 Simple Rules everyday at 4pm =) He is one of the best actors ever and you can tell he was a nice person.

First, WHY would someone answer the question by saying "Who?" I thought John Ritter was a comedic genius, and the way he went SO suddenly was VERY sad, and a terrible loss to the entertainment industry.. You know who else I was upset about when he died?? John Candy...what a talent...gone too soon, also!

When my mother took us to the Live Action TMNT Show, we met John Ritter there and my mom was a big fan of his shows, so yeah, we were sad, but more in shock because it was so unexpected.

I had totally forgotten that he had died. Yes, now that you mention it, the fact that he died is sad. I grew up watching Three' s Company Too. Actually, I forgot how he died.

Yes I was very sad. From all the reports that I have read his death was totally uncalled for. A Great Actor is silenced forever.
