There is nothing over the counter that you can take that will help you become pregnant. A reputable doctor will not give fertility drugs until you have been trying for at least 2 years. Prenatal vitamins should be taken for 3-4 months before trying to conceive to increase your folic acid levels to help prevent certain Neural Tube defects such as Spina Bifida.

Fertility pills need to be prescribed by a doctor. But I'm curious, if you can't afford your basic health care (you're contemplating using your daughters child support for it and your dad is lending you money to cover the rest) Why are you thinking of having another child right now?

I'm not sure if it's just that you "like babies" or if it's because your soon to be new husband wants one, but adding another child to a family that clearly lives at or below the poverty line, isn't going to make things any easier for you. It's just plain irresponsible to try to get pregnant when you can't afford basic medical expenses now. You should look into some sort of schooling or training or something that will help you and your family.

No, fertility meds are not available OTC. You would have to know why you are not conceiving before you could treat it. A previous poster suggested you would have to be trying for 2 years before a MD would prescribe meds, that is just plain untrue. If you can your MD can figure out what the problem is (like in my case, not ovulating at all) he or she would certainly be able to prescribe something. You have to have blood tests everymonth to monitor your hormone level. This will tell you if the meds are even working. I was able to ovulate the first month, but did not conceive. We were able to just repeat the cycle. Otherwise, we would have had to change dosages or possibly change methods. Best of luck!

Um, no you can't buy fertility meds at Walmart. Fertility treatments require close monitoring and repeated testing and injections by a fertility specialist.

You can buy prenatal vitamins OTC but they will not increase your odds of getting pregnant. They will, however, increase your odds of having a healthy baby.

Im also trying to conceive like you. There are fertility pills which you can just buy in pharmancy stores even without the prescription of a doctor. But, IT IS ADVISABLE THAT WE SHOULD GET FIRST OUR DOCTOR'S OPINION AND PRESCRIPTION for safety reasons.
GOOD LUCK!
