That's an old joke but here's something you might not know. A fly that has lost it's wings becomes deaf. If you don't believe this, then the next time you pull the wings off a fly do this: Yell out, "Jump fly, jump!!!" and see what happens.

Ah the age old question.....I think it would just be dead bcz it couldn't fly around and land on shtuf to eat and it would get stepped on. I don't think they can walk, so I would have to say no.
