Why is it that on MTV or BET that some artists' videos don't get any play? For example there is a song by the singer Sammie-You Should Be My Girl. I only saw his video once and that was on the MTV Jams Channel and everyone don't even get that channel. I never see it on BET or on regular MTV. There is another artist Raheem DeVaughn he had a song called Guess Who Loves You More. Well I always heard the song on the radio but I never even knew they made a video for it till I saw on the Internet. I see a lot of videos on Yahoo Music that I never see on MTV or BET, and these are good songs that just don't get no video play. Why is that? And whose fault is it, the networks or the record companies? Instead of playing the same artists videos over and over they need to give other artists a chance.

Some of them are mainstream type and some of them are underground..... some of them do pay for it to get airplay... some of them are independent and will do the promotions by themselves... And some of them are backed-up by someone famous, thats why they get more airtime... summary..... money and popularity talks.......

I'm not sure y some video's are shown wwwaaaayy more than others besides demand for them but Sammie is played on BET all the time. I see it about once every 4 hours.

they can't actually. u see, BET and MTV-well i won't crucify BET cuz they're not so bad- run on the boy/girl crazed minds of teenagers. if they start feauring artistes with actual singing talent and vision for music, or show videos that actually make sense, in other words the good but mostly non-popular music, then they would probably go bankrupt. but wats ironic is that they're half the reason my generation is so brainwashed.

the right people don't see them (fans) so they never get requested.
why when there are thousands of kidnappings every year. 2 or 3 from rich white familys are the only ones to make the news
