Well, babe, we'll do it together! I'm 37 and I'm gonna get braces, too. As for Invisalign, they don't work for all orthodontic problems, I know, my DDS said they won't work cause my jaw needs to grow more. I wish, though, cause the thought of not being able to floss right is not cool!

Talk to an orthodontist to find out what could happen to your teeth and your bite down the road if you don't get them fixed now. If your teeth don't meet properly when your mouth is closed, then you are at risk for losing some of them or your teeth getting even more crooked. But first you must find out if you need them for dental health reasons or just for aesthetics.
I don't think they are that bad at all, they can hurt a bit after your monthly visit to get them tightened, but it's worth it later. And you can get the new transparent kind that are almost invisible (but not the plastic ones, those turn yellow after a few months.) There are also other options for straightening teeth, like retainers.

They aren't bad, the time flies by and before you know it they are off. I had them on the top 6 teeth for 6 months, so I was lucky. I don't remember even having them. It's the retainer afterwards that keeps them straight for the rest of your life. I wear mine every other day or every 2 days, it's amazing how quickly your teeth move when you don't wear it everyday. Do it before you graduate college so you'll be looking awesome for your new job! New job and new teeth, plus it will make you feel more confident.

I didn't get braces until I was 30, one of the best things I ever did. I love my teeth and my smile now. I got the teeth colored ones on the top front teeth and silver on the rest. It's not that bad you just have to floss and clean your teeth a lot.

One of my best friends did braces when she was 30, and she never regretted it. You might ask whether Invisalign is an option for you, however, because that would be a lot less obvious. (I did them a few years back when my teeth had moved back into their "bad" places a bit from when I had braces as a teen. They were great....nobody ever even knew I had them.)

ive been having braces for 4 months now. i additionally had to get 2 tooth pulled out n it didnt harm in any respect it in simple terms feels weird and wonderful.i think of that the spacers harm extra desirable than having braces. i couldnt consume for some days. getting braces does harm yet after the 1st few days u get used to them n u can bite frequently. getting them tightened in basic terms hurts for that little 2d yet then the discomfort is going away. ur mouth would be sore even though it is going to circulate away. its no longer that undesirable incredibly. the gaps i had from the tooth that have been taken out is last n now u cant tell i had tooth taken out. its all worth it.dont project youll be ok.sturdy success

I have braces and am older than you. Ask for the clear braces and people will not notice you have them. They are cheaper than invisalign, which is important for someone starting school. The bigger adjustment to worry about is the restrictions on what you can eat. Kissing will also be a slight adjustment.

If you don't want noticelable metal braces you have 2 options.
1. Clear braces. You can see them a little bit, but they are much elss obvious.
2. A new technique called "invisalign". You can Google it. It is almost like a retainer/mouth guard.
