Not necessarily. Some attractive people aren't taken seriously and I'm sure that makes them feel bad.

That's just one way pretty people aren't all that lucky sometimes.

No. Being attractive comes with many benefits, but it also comes with many down sides. Many people will assume you are unintelligent, spoiled or snobby before even talking to you. On top of this they often suffer from low self esteem based on the fact that the only thing that anyone seems to care about is how pretty they are, which most of them are well aware will only last a few years. What then? Attractive women are also more likely to be stalked or the victim of violent crimes. After all most rapists would rather target a pretty girl than an ugly one.

I think most do. I've been on both sides, I have been slender, beautiful, and have turned heads. I am now overweight, lacking in appearance, and turn heads for completely different reasons. At one time I would get discounts in some places where now I feel I am being overcharged. Men would hold a door open for me as I entered a restaurant but that ceased to occur as the pounds racked up. You don't really notice the preferential treatment when it's happening, you just assume it's common courtesy but I noticed when it stopped I started wondering if it was all in the way I looked.

Easy life has a great deal to do with individual perceptions of the self and others. A good-looking man can still have a low opinion of himself. People with more appealing facial features are smiled at more, hired more often, etc.-- there are several ,studies to support that. And for little kids in school, kids with facial malformations are most often treated in a negative way or ignored. It's not fair, and it's not right, but it happens. Also, obese people are perceived as lazy or glutonous, even if they have a disorder that causes them to put on more weight than others. On the other hand, if you're fat and ugly, you may be less likely to be constantly hit on by the opposite sex and/or expected to do certain things for the opposite sex. As a stunning woman, my life is a breeze!

For the most part, yes. However, there are individual differences. Take Marilyn Monroe, for example. Sure she had looks, fame, and money. But was she necessarily a happy person? She had three failed marriages and affairs with married men (including, most notably, JFK). She wanted children very badly, but if I remember correctly, I think she had one or two miscarriages. It also appears that she committed suicide. Marilyn Monroe was beautiful and it got her a lot of things she probably wouldn't have had otherwise, but she certainly doesn't seem to have been a happy person.

In some respects. I was overweight and then lost a lot of weight. I could get any guy to help me with anything after I lost the weight, when before they'd just leave me to do it myself.

But it does make it harder to know if people really like you for who you are, not what you look like. Or I wonder, did I get the promotion for my talent and wisdom, or because the boss thinks I'm pretty.

Not really. Cause there looks get them noticed by good and bad people. And that could give them a easy life in a way, or a harder life to. Cause people would be noticing them just because of there looks

Yes we do.
Because ugly people are more nice to us, because there is a chance of getting laid. Also, we are easier to look at. Just human nature. We repel those things we find repulsive, and get wide-eyed at shiny pretty things.

Yea and No.......... Nope not really you see attractive people ALWAYS have something weighing them down...they are not satisfy with WHAT they have, most time its with WHO they have.
sometimes they can not stop thinking bout themselves and how pretty they are...sometimes they even get carried away that the don't think of their grades, school, friends, family, religion etc
Yes because since they are pretty, they have people doing things for them and stuff like that...
