I think the actual dating , without parents can start at 16. Because then the boy is old enough to work if the girl gets pregnant. At 13-15 you can begin to like boys and call them and write notes,I mean send text, hold hands, and even kiss. Just don't rush into anything. Do NOT let the guys tell you that you are "READY" for what they want. You will know , when you are ready. It is really best to take things slowly. It takes at least 6 months to a year to really get to know someone. To know what their motives and priorities are. Who their friends are. What their parents are really like. Try to have a teenage life, before you get pregnant and ruin all you fun and free time. There won't be any of that if Baby is on it's way. Take Care.

12 is fine but with a chaperone 3 or 4 dates in a year 13, chaperone,6-8 dates a year 14 shadow chaperone10-12 dates per year 15 free to date with no Chaperone 10 -12 per year No dating if grades drop or any "incidents of misbehavior while on date" no dating if called by school for discipline and you will go dutch everytime no if ands or butts about it. that would be my policy if they did not like it they can wait til 15 to date on their own. I don't want to chaperone them but too many crazy people out there and they would use public transportation no rides from anyone ever.

i would say 14 thats mostly the age when the kid is in 9th grade because i think when ur 14 understandmore stuuf and ur allowed to watch pg 14 films and u get in high school so 14 would be the best age coz a teen is mature enough at 14 (most of them) and i think most 14 yeard old would be smart and they would understand rules

Depends. I think it is okay for 12 year olds to "date" (as they call it lol) because it introduces them into the basics of dating without exactly dating. But to start seriously dating like making out and all that i would say probably highschool.
