I've got a full head of hair now, but was voted most likely to go bald in my high school yearbook. I have more hair than all of my male high school friends - it's really amazing. I started taking vitamins at 18 and haven't stopped since. Lots of different vitamins everyday, EVERYDAY. It is true that you can stop the loss and regrow - I did! And don't buy that crap advertised on radio, just regular vitamins from Wal-Mart, Cosco or Sam's Club. I also use Pantene shampoo and conditioner, every day. Seriously, good luck, bald may be beautiful, but on another guy, not you!

There are really only two treatments with medical credibility when it comes to slowing/preventing male pattern baldness: Rogaine (which increases circulation to the hair folicles, I believe) and Propecia (perscription only) which actually blocks the uptake of the chemical in your body that keeps hair from regrowing when it falls out. Both of these are more effective the sooner you begin treatment.
HOWEVER, if the loss is sudden it could be connected with a medical problem or very high stress. No matter what, I would recommend that you see your doctor for advice.
Good luck!

You may have a sensitive scalp and can't use flavored shampoo. I used a shampoo that had a strawberry flavor in it and it made my hair fall out. When I started using just regular shampoo and conditioner everything was okay. So switch to using just regular panteen shampoo. No flavor, no color control, just regular shampoo. It could also be the hair products you use. Try not using any hair products such as gel or mousee on you hair and see if you hair is still falling out.
Good luck. Your not stressing over anything are you?

A receding hairline is natural for guys to get. I'm noticing the same thing a little bit. Psychologically, baldness is masculine, even though no guy seems to like the idea of losing his hair. I wouldn't worry about it, and I would learn to appreciate you for you. If a girl truly loves you, she could care less whether or not you have a full set of hair. By the way, using excessive chemicals and treatments could be make it worse.

You could see a doctor but judging from the fact that I see a lot of bald people walking around you might want to try Alternative Medicine if Doctors fail you. You could try seeing an Herbalist.
Unless, you might have some diease that is causing it, it might not be the typical male pattern baldness.
treating the diease would stop the hair loss,
good luck.

Using coconut oil may not help, it didn't help my brother, i wouldn't wash it every day, as hard as that may be, if its too dry, it will fall out in bigger clumps.
