You can make probably fifty bucks easily from home. Plus, you don't need to be 18.

Well child labor laws prohibit kids under 16 to work so unless ur parents own a company you can't get a job. What i did for a first job was went to peoples house and detailed their cars. You can also mow lawns and wash windows. Something that you do and u have to be a boss of. You can also sell some of your stuff if you desperate, but otherwise you will have to wait till your 15 or 16. Rarely people will hire u at 15.

Well, when i first started, it was a job under the table, like working for a buisness set up by one individual working for a company, so I was able to work when I was 14. I would suggest maybe finding people who give work under the table ( which means they dont have benefits, but just work, no matter as long as your not to young of a child), maybe post flyers if thats not illegal, i would check, and if it is legal, state that you are a willing, hard working teenager for hire. I would do that, but Im not looking for a job right now. Hope this helps.
P.S- There are always people who are looking for babysitters

I don't know about in your state..but in mine you must be 16 to work (maybe if you get a worker's permit from your school you can start at 14). I know one thing is that you can do a paper route. Have a bake sale, have a garage sale...a lot of re-sale shops will buy your clothes from you. Sell something on ebay. Assist an elderly person with washing their car, mow the lawn...babysit, dog sit..???

Given that I have a 13 yr old and 16 yr old, I definitely appreciate when my kids help with the laundry or cleaning the garage , a closet, or an entire room that is messy.

Help your parents with something they need doing , and contract the job for a price. Stick to the terms of your agreement and let them know you want to be paid upon their satisfaction.

You will not only make money, you will please your parents and that gets you extra points when you want to go places or do things for fun.

whatever you do, make sure it's legal! and make sure no one takes advantage of you. have your parents check out your job BEFORE committing to it.

try your family and your neighbors for money making opportunities...
1. walk dogs
2. work in the garden
3. work in the kitchen or whatever part of the house you want to work in (garage, attic, basement and everywhere in between)...clean only that area for an agreed upon price
4. wash cars in the owner's driveway
5. go to the local "rehab" center or nursing home for seniors...ask if they have an entry-level "gopher" job (not as a patient caregiver though)
6. go to the local military reserve center...maybe they're short handed because of the war and need some help
7. what would your parents pay someone to do around your house?

Babysitting, house cleaning - just make sure you know the people you are going to work for, or that you have them meet with your parents first and your parents say it's okay. You could mow yards, have lemonade sales - my daughter made $30+ at one of her sales. Get a paper route, dog sitter/walker..., good luck!

You can earn quite a bit of money babysitting or being a mother's helper, doing odd jobs, being a waitress, working at a shop or selling some useless junk on eBay..

if you are a good decorator, you could try for yor own business.
if you are good cooker or chef, you could set up the stand in any events in your area to let people know how a good chef you are.

I know a true story. 12 years old girl in california make over 100k by selling her own icecream stand with the help of her mom and auntie
