I do not believe it, A question that is almost saying positive about Steve McClaren, yes i know he was with sven, I do not think sven was the type of man to take advice from anyone, the World Cup i.e Theo Walcott sven was determined to take him along with the squad I can not see Steve being very impressed. The point I am trying to make is if people will give him (Steve) a chance I am sure he will be tons better than sven.

He'll be workmanlike but unexceptional - just what England don't need. Also, if his days at Boro are any indication, you'll see a lot of cautious, patterned play from England. Also - he must take his share of the blame for England's performance at the World Cup. The only good thing is that I don't think McClaren will get away with making England play a negative, sterile brand of football -after ultra-cautious Sven, the fans won't stomach it. The wrong man for the job - again.

Although the was taught by the master (Fergie), I must say I don't have much faith in him bring ing out the best in the England side. He was after all, on Sven's coaching team so he had some hand in England miserable perfomance in the world cup.
