No woman can get a menstrual period while pregnant. The hormones of pregnancy totally prevent ovulation so any bleeding during pregnancy cannot be called a "period." So why do some women have regular bleeding episodes?

1. Implantation bleeding when the fetus attaches to the uterine wall
2. Intermittent bleeding due to getting pregnant while being on the Pill.
3. Other "early pregnancy" bleeding which sometimes leads to a miscarriage, but many women go on to carry these babies to term

Yes, many women have regular bleeding while pregnant but it's not a period. Hope this is helpful.

I still had periods for the first three months with my first pregnancy. It never did get as heavy as a regular period but it still last for five days like a regular period. So yes you can but it will not be the same as usual.

Yes, it is possible.. but I would really recommend you to see a doctor after finding out that you're pregnant because it may look like a normal period but really its a sign of some problem inside you.

well, I did. I had one my first month of pregnancy and it was different. I cramped harder than usual and I bled longer. It can happen.
