"the fluid level is OK?" is this a question or a statement?
Other than having a worn out clutch friction plates (yes, there IS a clutch in automatic transmission!) you could also have a mulfunctioning pressure modulator. It could be a simple adjustment. I suggest you have it professionally tested. If it IS slipping, it will wear out the friction plates quickly. If this happens, you need to have the transmission removed, rebuilt, and reinstalled. Few thousand dollars at least.

Check with a Toyota dealership about possible service bulletins or 'recalls' affecting your vehicle's transmission.
I know of a recall that affected a 1998 Toyota Sienna van (V6 engine/transmission grouping). Transmission slipping was not always apparent but when it was taken in for routine service, the owner was told the transmission was shot and needed replacement. Toyota replaced the transmission free of cost due to previously known defects with this unit.
How does this affect you?
The van was based on the Camry engine platform (same components).
It's possible the recall also affected Camry's but for which years, I don't know.

read your instruction booklet for this auto to tell you how to check the transmission fluid.
normally you have to drive one for 20 minutes to get the fluid hot, then place it in park and check the fluid.
to check the fluid , remove the dipstick and wipe it clean , replace the stick to the fullest possible depth , then remove the stick and check the fluid level
if the fluid level is actually ok, have the bands adjusted. it shouldnt take over 50 dollars to have them adjusted at a transmission shop.
then drive it to see if the adjustmant has stopped the slipping. if not , replace the transmission with a rebuilt one at a good responsible transmission shop.( 1150 dollars or so )

how many miles are on it? most manufacturers recomend changing the fluid every 60,000 miles because it loses it lubricating properties, and can become sludgy, clogging pathways, valve bodies, etc. Most people never do this...
If you're service required, or check engine, light is on, it could be a electronic problem, otherwise get the tranny professionaly flushed by a shop that will use a chemical flush to clean out he sludge...Good luck!
