The book is by an author who I believe has some sort of Disability I think it is Autism. She is credidted for developing some humane way to slaughter animals. Does anyone know the name of the book?

The author is Temple Grandin. She has written several books. Some of them are "Thinking in Pictures: And Other Reports from My Life with Autism", "Emergence, Labeled Autistic", "Developing Talents: Careers for Individuals with Asperger Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism ", and there are others books also by her.

Nope though I've heard about the broad you're talking about. It's not a humane way to kill animals, it's an easier way. She eliminated the shadows in the killing stalls that used to scare the cows so they would walk faster to be slaughtered.
