Robin Williams. I loved his portrayal in What Dreams May Come, and Good Will Hunting, and he scared me with his roll in Insomnia.

I'd say it is Tom Hanks. All of the others have made amazing strides, but no one is getting the accolades that Tom has over many, many years. He is the best.
