In my opinion...no. Foreboding is the feeling that SOMETHING is going to happen, but you don't necessarily know what. deja vu is the feeling that you've done that specific thing, or experienced that specific thing (whatever the deja vu was of) before. Close, but not exactly.....I would say premonition was closer. But again it's just my opinion.

Didn't you ask this question a while back?
I thought deja vu was a "glitch" in your mind where you see something, store it into a memory and then play it back "remembering" it at the same time you see it.
Wait, didn't you just ask this question?
Isn't history the same thing as the future?

Could be...never can tell. It's a 6th sense, and we know so little about that sense, don't we? I believe dreams are the foreboding. Do you listen to your dreams or blow them off. Or how about that nagging little feeling that tells you something is wrong? I have that too. And, something always, always goes wrong when I have it. It scares me, so I don't develop it. I think it scares most people and for those who channel that ability, I feel that they are very brave. How brave are you?

naw I think deja vu is when you just zone out and forget what your doing and why.
then when you "come back to reality" you sense you've...been...there...before...
