But I still think you should be a little less Gung Ho, and a little more thoughtful about what America means to you. You make it seem like it means little else to you than an iconic image and the opportunity to learn to shoot people. If you really loved America, maybe you would have done better in History class. Your teacher told me you got a C.

I do love America, but you should always have the right to disagree with what happens here. Unless I'm prepared to leave this country, I'm going to love it. Why be miserable thinking of all the negative aspects of this country, when there are just as many positives.
