Obviously you are a Chargers fan....nothing wrong with that but, 16-0??? Let's get real here, they will have to fight just to make the playoffs...they have an unproven QB; Brees was tested and got better with each passing season, Rivers has never started a game, so the jury is still out. They have one of the best running backs in the game with LaDanian Tomlinson, their receiving core is just average at best; I'd say their defense is in the top 10 (around 8 to 10 range)....I'd say 9-7; and they will fight the Chiefs for 2nd in the division. The Broncos are clearly a better team at this point.

What kind of stupid "homer" question is that? One team in all of football history has gone unbeaten and think the Chargers have a chance. Lets evaluate this. Their defense is okay, not bad, but nothing special, their offense was good, L.T. is the best back in the game, Gates is one of the top 3 TE in the game, but we have never seen Rivers. He might be good but to say he is going to go unbeaten in is first year, I don't think so.

You guys just NEVER learn do ya?
Marty Schottenheimer is the coach of the CHARGERS!
Almost NO coach in the NFL has coached as long (nor as unsuccessfully as Marty Schottenheimer!)
No team coached by Schottenheimer has ever won a Superbowl!
No team coached by Schottenheimer has ever been IN a Superbowl!
No team coached by Schottenheimer has ever won a Conference Championship!
Schottenheimer has one of the WORST playoff records of ANY coach in the HISTORY of the NFL!
The Chargers will struggle to make the playoffs, and if they do make it, it will be "one and out" (as usual for Marty)

Not after they lost Drew Brees. LT is the best running back in the league though. He's thrown more TD's than Phillip Rivers, that's kind of a funny thought.

Seriously?
With a QB who has only thrown 30 passes and the shear inability of anyone in the near past to do this, it's laughable.
