I'm a fan of Sharpie markers. They fixed a rubbed sleeve on my hubby's leather coat. Black shoe polish might be more appropriate, but a Sharpie will definitely do in a pinch.

get rid of the faded greenish bit with leather dye. If the jacket is supposed to be shiny polish it with shoe polish.

You've had some great answers here. Another 'fix' would be to cover your collar in cloth; when it wears out it can be replaced.
