My daughter would love to go swimming, but water gets in her ears and causes problems with the tubes she has in them. This can cause them to fall out and make us have to have them surgically replaced. We have tried the foam ear plugs, but they fall out and don't really work well. Does anyone know of another option that we could try?

my children both used sized hear plugs(purchased from the ENT) with a special headband also, purchased from the ENT. We used for swimming and bathing.

when I was little I used to have ear tubes, I don't know if this is an answer to your problem, but my mom took me to the ear doctor and he made me some ear plugs custom to fit my ears. If that doesn't work my mom used to buy some ear plugs by Johnson and Johnson that you could place in your ear and mold yourself when would take a bath. I hope this helps. Bye.

Don't listen to the guy who said "no need". Yes, you need to protect her tubes. There are special plugs for kids with tubes. Call you pediatrician who put them in (or had them put in). If not check at your local pharmacy, ask the pharmacist. There are special plugs, I think they are wax for kids with tubes.
Good Luck

Your doctor can recommend a place to get custom fitted plugs. We did the same thing with our son.
