Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone (other than yourself) can say or do to improve your self-esteem. The key word in that word is: self. The best advice could be to find what you think you need to improve on and work on it. Nothing will give you more satisfaction, and therefore improve your self-esteem, than accomplishing something. Sure, people can tell you things to help you, but those are only temporary solutions.

I struggle with low self-esteem. The problem is we often look to others to validate us. We need to find the good within ourselves. I would encourage you to see a counselor. Lots of people think counseling is lame...aka "rent a friend". But here's the deal. They will help you to see you for who really are...Hang in there.

Are you a Christian? I now understand that I was put here to help others. Do I still struggle with low self-esteem? Yes, but I feel better when I do something nice for others. For example, I help my neighbors' kids with their homework, I make cookies for someone who has just had a baby, or just smile at someone when I'm holding the door for them. Does this make sense?

What the hel*s your problem, you'er beautiful. Fall in love.....Starting loving someone and then screw it up, I mean feel Love not just sex. Humans are perfectionistic by nature and imperfectable; there's no such thing as a perfect human because there's always some smartass that wants something different. Be good to yourself, pump iron, take up boxing or pugilistics or karata, try different food, explore the world for what you like, respect your own feelings, those are what keep you and everyone else in touch with humanity, each other. Just be different, don't TRY to be different.

It will take a lot of practice.

try to be silent if you can
don't confront, and try to put up with all the word you hear.
don't look at things so seriously

Do you believe in yourself? Do you think highly of yourself? You should. If you don't, then you need to practice.
