Im sorry to any of you gays out here tonight, but until two people of the same sex can create an offspring of there DNA im against gay marriage.Because if the whole world turned gay,who would be around to reproduce? Everyone would just die off one by one till no one on this planet is left. Thats why man and woman are designed to be together because they create babies. Untill a sperm and a sperm and an egg and a egg can create a baby,my word is final. But that could never happen until hell freezes over or till the cows come home.In other words that could never happen.

Okay we get how you feel and I agree that man is for woman and vice versa... but disagreeing with their lifestyle is one thing... but judgment is reserved for god alone. As a christian I love all persons regardless of their persuasion as god loved even the siner. We don't have to agree with it but we can still treat eachother with respect and cordial.

II see your point, but if the only normal relation would be the one that devotes itself to reproduction, then the infertile couples, or the ones who simply decided that they don't want to have babies, even though not gay, then according to your reproductive point they would be abnormal, not deserving to exist since our only purpose in life is to copulate and have offspring’s.
It is a difficult subject; most of us get too scared as to accept that at least once we felt some sort of attraction for somebody from our own sex.
What you mean about sperm-sperm or egg-egg, it sounds interesting, because genetically males are XY and women XX.
In other words, if the technology would be able to manipulate the fertilization, as it can be already done with cloning - just any cell of the body, creating a perfect copy of the original.
Regarding the point that men are the ones who determine the baby's sex since they have a female and a male chromosome, and then they could even chose the sex of their babies. For women it would be might be easier, since one can become pregnant, but if the baby would be created only between 2 women, only women could be reproduced.
There are so many things we do not know, that are happening right now in research, that saying something is impossible is just getting you a good feeling about the continuation of life the way we know and you would like to keep on existing.
Don't worry, in your country the homosexual marriage is still an issue hard to solve, for not talking about adoption/reproduction.
After all, In vitro fertilization is not against nature? Every day more couples are happy because they finally are able to have their kids with science help. The embryos that were made before in vitro fertilization and exceed the now usual twins go straight to the freezer. Moreover, once the parents want to try again, defreezing the embryos and starting over the procedure is absolutely normal. Normality is a matter of frequency.

Before you go throwing stones I am not gay.

But god spent a lot of time killing homosexuals in the bible Kings 1 +11 there was lot of talk of them in Isiah Romans and so forth .

It is normal for a percentage of the population to be gay and yes there are "gay" animals they have studied them disected them and documented the whole proces. They (scientists) have even created gay fruit flys by manipulateing genes.

Now if there is a reason if there must be a reason then it is likely a natural response to overpopulation. Remeber that for some unknown reason wolf packs have less pups when there is ging to be less deer and no noone is going to buy god told them in advance.

We know that human character and behaviour changes in very predictable ways with population density an example is the too many rats in a cage (they eat each other) or the grass hooper that turns into locust when there are too many of them.

Nature tries to achieve balance and if it is a creation of nature by definition it becomes natural ......

Strangely so is your response the confusion the disgust all of it . You have that because you are not gay (or maybe you are and you have guilt issues but thats a different issue) . You will go after the oposite sex and keep the population going they will not and the birth rate might go down to an aceptable level.

But thats only if there has to be a reason and it doesn't mean it is the reason it's just my take on it.

The fact that people who have always been of a gay orientation now feel safe to live their lives the way they want to does not mean that there's MORE gay people than ever. The human species, TRUST me, is in no danger of dying out; we're horrendously overpopulated at present in fact.

Everyone isn't gay; just some are and it's not "contagious". So, your argument is invalid because it calls in a hypothetical that will NEVER happen. Incidentally, they can create offspring from two eggs now (those crazy biologists; what will they think of next?).

Your question makes about as much sense as "If heterosexuality is so normal, then why is the sky blue?" The two are completely unrelated.

Not all People choose to make babies. There are animals that will never elope with the opposite sex. There are wild animals that will choose a male partner over a female partner, and will not even try to elope even to produce babies.

There is no way the entire earth will be Entirely Gay, That is FEAR of gays, and homosexuals, that is called Homophobia.

For Example, Some people Have sex with their wives, Others, choose to do oral sex on or from their wives. Well then... Why have oral sex, when that cant produce babies

Why do we have sex ALL the time? If we're on birth control? WHY Wear a condom? If we were meant to have babies every time we had sex?

Birds, will find a mate, but have sex with another bird, to produce a better offspring. but still be with the same mate, even though it cheated on the their mate, with a mate that was more suitable, so their race survives. (they elope with dominate males, that are bigger, stronger and healthier, yet choose a weaker partner for life).

It's nature, to choose who you are physiclaly, and sexually attracted too, and who you can find common grounds with.
Gays didn't CHOOSE to be gay, it was NATURAL to them.
THey found men more attractive than women, and vise versa. They could have tried to like the opposite sex, but that would be denying what they really wanted.

If you happen to have achild who is gay, you will fully understand, that it is natural, and you'll notice all the little signs, at an early age, the more you deny it to them, the more they will pull away from you in the future, when they follow what they really believe in.

We're over populated, by 10s of millions of people, if anything, we need more people, if anything, we need to make LESS babies, and start adopting.

People have been gay since shakespear and before then. We just KNOW about it now, we are more overpopulated now, than before, yet gays have existed for ever.

Listen. Nobody ever suggested that the whole world should turn gay. If you've actually been listening...or reading rather, you'd know that people don't "turn" gay or straight. They are born one way or the other, or sometimes bisexual, trans, etc. The best estimates are that something like 10 percent or less of the population is gay or lesbian. That' leaves 90% to have children, and no dying off!

There is nothing NORMAL about your question. Please, try to be more respectful of other people, and learn something from what you can read before you ask foolish questions. You don't have to share our point of view, but don't make a fool of yourself. You'll look better.

1. The whole world isn't going to "turn gay." And duh, you get the prize for knowing that two sperm or two eggs can't get together and have a baby. Glad you caught up with the rest of us as far as biology is concerned.

2. Heterosexuals don't necessarily marry so they can have children, even if they are biologically capable. Some heteros choose not to marry and still have children so guess what? You can have kids without being married. (Read up on the numbers of children born "out of wedlock.")

3. So if there are two heterosexual people who marry but then choose not to have children do you consider them to be not "normal" since your whole argument is that gays shouldn't marry because they can't produce children? Are you saying that a man and a woman who marry must produce children in order for the marriage to be validated because that is what is supposed to happen by design?

4. The ability to produce children has nothing to do with attraction. Sexual intercourse between heteros does not occur just so babies can be made. People do each other because it's fun and it feels good. That is what encourages them as far as when they do decide on making babies. If it didn't feel good and it wasn't fun, they wouldn't do it and there'd be no babies. Since it does feel good, they get a bonus because many really do want babies. Therefore you have nothing to worry about as far as the earth dying out. You have more to worry about from global warming.

5. Gay people can adopt babies, as can heteros who either can't or don't want to have babies through intercourse. So, are heteros who are biologically capable of having babies abnormal if they choose to adopt rather than biologically making one? Should they not have sex since you seem to be saying that sex between a man and a woman is so they can make babies?

6. Man and woman are designed to reproduce, but it doesn't mean they are "designed to be together." They can choose to be together and they can also choose to be apart as evidenced by the divorce rate and the number of single parent homes.

7. Your "word" is not "final. It's just what it is - YOUR word. Just one opinion that you're entitled to in a sea of opinions that others are entitled to. Sorry you don't get to dictate when, where, or why or what wo people decide to do as consenting adults.

8. Whether or not gay marriage becomes legal and recognized all over the world remains to be seen, but it certainly is already in some countries.

To start with, there is no chance that the whole world will turn 'gay'. That would, indeed, be a very quick end to the human race.

As I have said in answer to a similar question, sex and reproduction play a relatively minor role in human society. Certainly we were given sexual organs in order to reproduce but we were also given a vastly more complex emotional and erotic sensibility than other animals, much of which bears no direct relation to reproduction.

Marriage, too, is not all about sex and raising children. It is also very much to do with two people who love each other wanting to be together as companions to support each other. I see no reason why anybody should be denied access to that institution regardless of whether they intend to raise a family or not. In fact there are many heterosexual couples who either cannot or do not wish to have a family. Would you also deny them marriage?

Same sex marriage can't create offspring. That I agree. How about straight couples who are infertile, do you consider them normal?

Those who are balding, are they normal? Those who contracted cancer, are they normal? Those who are born with disabilities, are they normal? Who are you to judge?

How well do you know these people? Do you even know them personally? Do you know GOD? Have GOD spoken to you? Did GOD tell you what is right or wrong?

I think rather than condemning the gay community, you should be proud that they have the courage to stand up to the world and follow their heart. They are not afraid to love.

I believe that the world will not stop revolving because of gay people. Maybe you should spend more time worrying about natural disasters and war.

There are many same sex couples out there adopting the Children of parents that have had Children and do not want them.
They do not have to reproduce! They can love and nurture a child beyond what the "male, female" bodies have produced.
Rain on the heterosexuals that have children because they can and throw them away! Sunshine on the couples that adopt the Children thrown away by parents with seeds and eggs!

Are you suggesting that the sole purpose of marriage is procreation? Damn, all this time I thought it was about two people who love each other!

Here's a news flash for you: I've always been a lesbian, and have raised an awesome soon-to-be 21-year-old (heterosexual, not that it would matter to anyone except you) male firefighter & just an all-around decent human being.

Oh & btw, I don't think the human race will be on the endangered species list anytime soon.
